This award is open to all businesses in the Professional and Financial sector including but not limited to doctors, solicitors, banks, insurance providers. To succeed in this category you must be able to demonstrate how you have effectively implemented strategies to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction. If you are shortlisted for this category, you will undergo a “Mystery Shopper” evaluation.

Drogheda Chamber, has introduced a new category for 2006 that recognises the important role played by the voluntary sector in our community.The “Community Commitment” Award is open to all voluntary
organisations who provide services, funds, resources, knowledge and skills to sustain and develop an important community resource.We want to hear about the community groups that are striving for excellence in their work - do you know of an organisation who should apply for this Award? Please do invite them to apply. The applicants in this category will be judged on the same criteria as the conventional awards and the judging will be by the independent Judging Panel. Drogheda Concentrates, proud sponsors of this category, are delighted to announce that an additional prize of €1000.00 will be presented to the organisation that is selected as the winner of the Community Commitment Award.

This special Award will recognise the work and contribution of one member of our business community. The winner of this Award will be an outstanding individual whose pioneering spirit, resourcefulness and determination have contributed to our community - both in business and the social fabric of the community - and inspired others. It differs from other categories because it is not open to application and judging. Instead, the winner will be elected by nomination of the Council of Drogheda Chamber. The recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award will be honoured at the Gala Awards Night in recognition of their dedication to their work and excellence.
