These criteria will apply regardless of your category of entry. Each entrant must prove his/her
company has achieved excellence in each of these areas.
So, what exactly will the judges be looking for?
You must demonstrate clearly how the managers of your company lead, inspire
and direct the business towards achieving excellence on every level.
You must show how your employees are utilised as a necessary element of your success, are
given opportunities to learn and develop their skills and are encouraged to contribute to the
running of the company.
You must describe the importance of
excellence in customer service within your
company and the ways in which your
company strives to provide the best
customer service possible.
You must outline the impact your company
has had on the business life of the Greater
Drogheda Area.
You must give an account of the tangible results of your business – how it has achieved excellence
and what that achievement means in real terms.
It’s a challenging task for candidates, but then we want the Awards to reflect the reality of business
and the determination of local entrepreneurs to succeed – locally, nationally and internationally. This
way, both applicants and the public can be sure that the awards are presented to those who have
achieved excellence and who have proven their worth to our panel – that they really are the very
best in their field.
