The Best Green Business Initiative Award is open to all businesses whether you are a multinational or
a one man operation,  that have implemented an environmental initiative during the last three years.

This initiative can be on a small or large scale as it will be judged based on the company size and structure.  This initiative should also demonstrate a commitment to minimising the impact of your business on the environment as you deliver your products and services.
 
The judges will want to know everything you do in order to achieve your green objectives from issues such as transport, energy and water reduction, to staff engagement and community involvement. You must explain what you have achieved so far and what you hope to achieve in the future. And we need to see evidence of an overall strategy that sets out your targets and how you plan to achieve them.

• Typed submissions should be completed and 4 copies returned to Drogheda Chamber, by 3.00pm on the Friday 7th October 2011.
• In the event that your company is shortlisted for this award you will need to be available on 16th November for a 15 minute interview/presentation with members of the Judging panel - this applies to the following categories: Best Start Up, Best Established, Manufacturer/Exporter of the Year, Successful Sales & Marketing, Best E commerece in Business, Best Green Buiness & Community Contribution.  A Mystery Shopper will visit the following shortlised nominees in place of an interview at any stage from the 29th of October to the 15th of November- Best Retailer, Healthy/Hair & Beauty and Eating Establishment of the Year .
