Local Heroes is proud to announce that the Getting Irish Business online initiative is coming to Drogheda to enable local Businesses get online.Getting Irish Business Online (www.gettingbusinessonline.ie) is a partnership between Google, Blacknight Internet Solutions, An Post and the County & City Enterprise Boards and is targeting the 40% of Irish SMEs including sole traders that do not have a website or an online presence.
On March 5th the Getting Business Online team from Google and Blacknight will be in Drogheda to assist local businesses to get online. They will provide qualifying businesses with the following:
· Free website for 1 year (domain and hosting included)
· Business will go through the registration process on the day and leave with a fully functioning live website
· Google volunteers will take businesses through all features of the Blacknight website creation tool including editing page content, adding additional pages, incorporating videos/images, using our free E-Commerce tool and our E-mail integration.
· Businesses will also learn about the free tools & resources that will help them build and grow their businesses online.
· Free EUR100 Ad Words voucher
· Free .ie domain for registered businesses (those with either a CRO, VAT or RBN number)
· Free .com, .eu or .biz for all
This is an amazing opportunity for local businesses to get their business online and expand their reach, the e-Commerce integration will enable the business to promote and sell their products to a wider national and international markets.
This opportunity will be open to all businesses that do NOT HAVEan online presence or registered domain – businesses with a website/ registered domain will NOT qualify for this initiative.

Registered businesses will receive an appointment for a one hour consultation in the dHotelon March 5th, 2012 and may bring along their laptops if they wish, however equipment will be provided on the day.
