As a direct result of the recent Local Heroes ‘Invest Drogheda’ Trade Mission to Silicon Valley, Drogheda Chamber and the soon to be built Drogheda Enterprise Centre have created a unique network link with the ‘Irish Technology Leadership Group’ in California. Drogheda Enterprise Centre will be a ‘Gateway to Silicon Valley’ for start-up technology companies and their founders in the region.
Mayor of Drogheda Kevin Callan, Drogheda Chamber & Local Heroes will attend the ITLG Innovation Summit 2012 in Santa Clara, California on March 12th & 13th as part of the $50,000 Enterprise Package secured for Drogheda.
Key speakers at the event include John Hartnett (Founder & President ITLG), Craig Barrett (Chairman ITLG), Roger McNamee (Founder Elevation Partners), Carl Schramm (President & CEO Kaufmann Foundation) and John O’Farrell (Managing Partner Andreessen Horowitz).

CEO Bootcamp & Pitch Sessions
This week we announced announce our partnership with DCU/Ryan Academy regarding the Kauffman program and we plan to rollout out first CEO bootcamp at the Innovation summit for the Entrepreneurs attending the event.
We are in full swing with AT&T with a mobile focus partnership and companies participating in the trade mission will have an opportunity to pitch to Silicon Valley corporates and Venture Capital Investors including Nokia, Yahoo, Sony and HP. We have reviewed their strategies & requirements and we are currently working on technology roadmaps & company selection for pitch sessions at the Innovation Summit.
