The Drogheda Arts Festival kicks off today!
The Festival will run for 6 days and will has events to suit all age groups and tastes - theatre, music, spectacle, visual arts, dance, film, puppetry, comedy, literature and street performances.
Some of the highlights of this years wonderful event are
Submarine Man an amazing piece of theatre by Upstate Theatre Company - Written by Aidan Harney.
Michael Nyman is one of the most prolific, versatile and successful of contemporary composers and well known for writing the score to the 1993 film The Piano.
Family Fun Day in St. Dominic’s Park where the young and young at heart can enjoy all that the Summer Carnival Village has to offer.
Another of the highlights is the Traditional day in Millmount! Music song and dance and the CRAFTED exhibition at the GATEHOUSE GALLERY, and the craft studios will be opened to visitors.
