Murphy Group – Lifetime Achievement Award
The Murphy Group of companies has grown up in the great tradition of Irish indigenous business from one man with an idea into a group of companies that have sustained employment and commercial opportunities spanning over four decades in the locality.
The companies began with the core business of Murphy Concrete Manufacturing Limited and have grown now to encompass the Murphy Environmental Gormanston facility, the new MCM Stone which was created this year as another arm to the Murphy Group and the ever forward looking MEHL Hollywood which is continuing in its pursuit of excellence in Waste Management for Ireland.
The Lifetime Achievement Award is a natural fit for a group which itself has been built over a lifetime and evolved in line with markets and opportunities that those markets presented. The Managing Director of the Murphy Group Seamus Murphy recognises the value of persistence and the need for flexibility all attributes essential to someone who can be described as having accumulated a Lifetime of Achievement in business.
