The Chamber Business School is a dynamic training organisation with a passionate commitment to increasing business productivity, profitability and competitiveness by developing the critical skills required to cope with the ever increasing demands of work.
Managed directly by Chambers Ireland and grant aided by FÁS, the Chamber Business School expects to train over 3,000 employees in 2006 making it one of the largest private training providers in Ireland.
In response to industry demands, the Chamber Business School has dramatically increased access to training for Irish businesses by providing relevant tailor made training, locally and at competitive rates.
Relevant Training
Focusing on the critical skills required to impact positively on business performance the Chamber Business School has developed almost 30 programmes under the following headings:
- Management Development
- Human Resource Management
- Personal Development
- Health and Safety
Tailor Made Solutions
Our panel of Ireland's leading training professionals commence each programme by ascertaining the specific training needs of each participant to ensure that they get what they want from the programme. These training needs are revisited throughout and at the end of each programme. This level of contracting with participants ensures that each course is tailor made to suit individual requirements and that a maximum return on training investment is achieved for the company.
Open Courses
'Open" courses means that companies can send any number of participants to training programmes. With participants coming from different businesses and our emphasis on interaction and participation, trainees get to learn from each other by hearing how other companies address particular issues and situations. This cross fertilization of ideas creates a most simulating environment for trainees.
Delivered Locally
Courses ranging from one day to five days in duration are available through the local chamber network while more specialised programmes are delivered at a central location.
Competitive Rates
All training is available at a highly subsidised rate, making it very affordable for Irish businesses. Chamber members in the BMW region benefit from FÁS grant aid at 70% while members in the South and East benefit from grant aid at 60%.
This programme is run on behalf of FÁS and is funded by the NDP and the ESF.
