ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING & SUMMER BBQ 2011
Notice is hereby given that the 117th Annual General Meeting of Drogheda Chamber of Commerce will be held on Thursday the 16th June 2011 at 6.00pm in the D Hotel, Drogheda, Co. Louth – (Registration from 5.30pm)
The President, Graham Hughes is now drawing his term to a close and is due to step down at this coming AGM. At this time we would invite nominations for Presidency to be made to the Chamber. We would also welcome nominations for joining Chamber Council. If you would like to put forward a nomination for Presidency or Chamber Council please contact Patricia White (manager@droghedachamber.com or call 041 9833544).
Nominations for Presidency & Council must be made in advance of the meeting, by way of Proposer and Seconder, both being paid up members of the Chamber. Persons nominated must have indicated their consent to serve if elected. Please see an attached nomination form to be filled out and returned to the Chamber. You may make a nomination without having a seconder available to you as others may also wish to support that nomination.
The AGM will be followed by a Drogheda and District Chamber summer BBQ - an ideal opportunity for networking and a relaxed evening! The Chamber has arranged for a BBQ to be available after the formal business of the AGM and we would love to see as many of our members as possible as it is our way of saying “Thank You” for your support over the year.
Both members and non members are welcome to attend the social element of the evening. If you know of any business people who would like to attend but are not Chamber members please invite them along, the more the merrier! Take a break from the stresses and make sure to join us
