Members Service Charter

Drogheda Chamber believes:-

• Our Members are the very essence of our activity and we are here to serve you and the business interests of Drogheda and its environs.
  
• Our dedicated Staff will always respond in a courteous, prompt and helpful manner to the requests of our Members. Our Staff will listen carefully to Members comments and ensure that these are relayed to those who can take action.
  
• Our Council is made up of active Chamber Members who have committed to work on behalf of Members to represent the needs of Members. Council Members will take responsibility for sitting on a variety of Boards responsible for making change in County Louth and will be active members of Chamber Action Committees. Council Members commit to operate the Chamber in a fiscally responsible manner to protect the Chamber and its Members.
  
• Council Members of Drogheda Chamber will elect a President and Vice President who will lead the Chamber with dedication and commitment. 
  
• A selection of Action Committees will represent various sectors of Chamber life including: Retail, Tourism, Succession Planning, Marketing and Communications, Infrastructure, Events, Finance etc.
  
• Drogheda Chamber shall have a clearly defined marketing and communications channel with members including the monthly “E-Zine”, Quarterly Newsletter, E-Mail Alerts about events and a regularly updated website featuring details of members companies and news updates.
  
• Drogheda Chamber shall actively engage with Drogheda Borough Council, Meath County Council and Louth County Council regarding current and future management of the Town and County.
  
• Drogheda Chamber will create an annual events programme that offers members an opportunity to learn additional business skills, to network with fellow members and to meet business personalities. Special attention will be paid to meeting the needs of new members by hosting New Members Evenings and a New Member Liaison will be present at all Chamber Events.
  
• Drogheda Chamber will offer a business network to all companies operating in the Greater Drogheda Area. We will seek to invite companies to join the Chamber and will encourage members to participate actively for the benefit of all Chamber Members.
  
• Drogheda Chamber shall seek to recognise the successes, innovations and exemplary services offered by Chamber Members and will provide a forum for companies to display these talents.
  
• Drogheda Chamber will bear no political affiliations but will facilitate politicians in speaking to Members on issues relating to business. Drogheda Chamber will always seek to ask politicians for straight answers on issues affecting business in Drogheda.
  
• Drogheda Chamber will work tirelessly to raise the profile of Drogheda as a viable location for inward investment and as an alternative location to Dublin for business.
  
• Drogheda Chamber endorses open, transparent, ethical and environmentally sound businesses practises and urges all members to act in a similar manner.
  
• Drogheda Chamber will engage with the activities of Chambers Ireland and draw on the resources of this national business network.
