Today sees the launch of the Co. Louth Economic Development Forum. This group brings together a range of people from the Business Community, State Agencies, Education and Local Authorities to devise the next stages of Economic Development for Co. Louth. The Forum will be chaired by Padraig White former Chief Executive of the IDA. Drogheda and District Chamber is represented on this Forum by Chamber President Patricia Rooney and Past President Graham O’Rourke.
Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform Dermot Ahern T.D. today launched the Forum and the media, local and national, were in attendance. Watch out for coverage in the media this week.
The work of the Forum will be on-going but President Patricia Rooney will keep members posted on news as it emerges and the local media will also be kept informed.
