Turning on Christmas Lights Ceremony

The official turning on of the Drogheda Christmas lights will take place on Friday 21^st from 6.30 to 8.30 pm at St Peters Church.

This is a great family event and we encourage both young and old to turn out to see the amazing display of lights we have this year.

Drogheda and District Chamber of Commerce Delivers the Goods - with a little help from our friends
The President of Drogheda & District Chamber of Commerce Patricia Rooney today 8^th November, 2008 at the Business Excellence Awards Gala Black Tie Evening announced in conjunction with the Mayor of Drogheda Borough Council Frank Maher a fantastic new initiative for the Town at Chamber House. The Chamber had sought funding through Enterprise Ireland recently on foot of an ambitious plan to develop and deliver a 12000sq.ft. state of the art building that will house start-up and graduation enterprises.

An air of excitement and tension hung over Drogheda on Saturday 8th November as the Drogheda & District Chamber hosted its annual Business Excellence Awards at the Boyne Valley Hotel. It was truly a night of celebration for businesses in Drogheda and District and without a doubt the highlight of the business social calendar.

Wednesday 15th October 2008 we had an exciting time at the Chamber House here in Drogheda. Having been in contact with him over the last number of weeks with the assistance of his lovely mother Mrs. Margaret Costello the Chamber were delighted when we extended an invitation to Tom to come and meet the Chamber Council the next time he came home to Drogheda and he graciously accepted.
