| Following the publication of today’s (10/01/08) report of the Public Service Benchmarking Body, Chambers Ireland Chief Executive John Dunne said, “Benchmarking was established to replace the previous system of escalating relativity claims across the public sector. While we support the efforts to link public and private sector pay, it has evolved into a one-way system where public service wage levels only increase.” |

Pierce to drive international strategy
Chambers Ireland has today (29/01/06) announced the election of David Pierce as its new president. Mr Pierce is a Director of Ulster Bank Corporate Markets and is Chairman of Ulster Bank Commercial Services Limited where he is responsible for marketing the Ulster Bank Group to overseas businesses locating in Ireland. |
